It's time for more wedding photos! It makes total sense. We're celebrating our year anniversary at the end of the month. Today I've shared some family+friend shots from outside the temple. Next week I'll post some more of Taylor and me and some reception photos too. Can't stop, won't stop! Don't we have good looking families?! Answer-yes.

wedding photo (a year later) wednesday

I figured 11 months in was a good time to start posting some wedding photos! You know, when everyone has completely lost interest in us/has moved on to asking us when we're having babies. I realized today that I've only posted 7 photos from our wedding day on this blog. Out of the 527 photos we have, I have posted 1.3% of them. Now I don't want to go overwhelming anyone with a million photos from our perfect day so we'll start small and I'll continue to post them until you don't realize you have seen every last one of them.

Rachel sent me these to hold me over til January 1st, upon which date I will receive all of our photos! Best New Year's present ever? Psshhyeah!

Here is one of my favorite pics from wedding week. Wendy threw me an awesome girls' lunch the day before the wedding. We decided to grab a pic with all my sisters and sisters-in-law afterward.

My amazing photographer Rachel was kind enough to send a few family shots of the wedding so my mom can finish up her Christmas cards.

How cute are my parents? They look a little bit more in love than T and me. It's like we were all there for their anniversary and I showed up slightly overdressed.

california + kauai

I thought I'd blog a few photos I took with my phone from our trips to California and Kauai. Cali was great because uh, we got MARRIED. And Kauai is just insane crazy beautiful. Now for some photons.

joint in Kauai. My fave: Bubba's.

glass jars

I am a big fan of glass jars. My new favs being some oversized ball jars I found at Hoblob. (That's short for Hobby Lobby. Kind of like how romcom is short for romantic comedy.) I think I'll incorporate some blue tinted ball jars into the wedding table decor centerpiecery somehow. I think they are beachin'.

Colored jars above were shot by the wonderful Johnny Miller. I got to work with him a few times at Martha. Guy's got serious skills.

oh hey georgina!

Meet Georgina, the inspiration for my wedding dress! I met with my amaaazing dressmaker, Penny last night up at her studio in Salt Lake. We had fun drawing all over the photos I brought in and I think we came up with something really beautiful. I. am. so. excited.

tuscany wedding

Sorry for the terrible blogging lately! I will be posting more often since I am planning my wedding! (which will not be in Tuscany). Yes interwebs, I am an engaged blogger blogging about wedding planning. Ground-breaking stuff. You saw it here first.

Anyway, I came across these beautiful photos on Once Wed today shot by Jill Thomas. I have always looved her work. She shot a few of my friend's weddings and I just drool over her photos. Gorge. Tuscany trip? 2014? Who's with me?

goin to the chapel

Peeps. My bestie Amanda just got engaged! Which means that four of my most favorite ladies are gettin' hitched in the next few months. I'm very excited for their weddings.

First up is Shannan. 

Shannan is my former neighbor/live-in. Life is pretty much exactly like a sitcom when Shannan is your neighbor. We like to play in as many volleyball tournaments as we can during the summer-time. We very much enjoy losing before the finals so we can be done in time for Sonic happy hour and pool-time post-loss.  The only time we've ever fought was on a windy pool day when my SPF 7o barely sprayed onto her ....

Next up is Maddi!

Maddi is hysterical. I met her when she was just a wee teenager. She and I bonded over midnight coke runs and frozen yogurt dates back in the day. She is one of the best listeners I've ever met and has the best closet you'll see this side of the Mason-Dixon. (No idea where this is.) But for real, I will send her pictures of anything before I purchase it. She will always respond within seconds and give her consent or refusal to purchase said item. Maddi is always a hoot, and I just love her to death. (Please ignore the drunken Kendra and Ali in this shot)

Then comes Amanda!!!!!!! WHO JUST GOT ENGAGED TONIGHT. A quick Holler would suffice. Holler!

Amanda was my very first friend in my post-grad life and my very first friend at work. We'd exchange witty emails and have picnics discussing our dramatic lives. We realized we had a lot of similar interests, so we'd write emails claiming dibs on stuff. An email might look like this, "Coke. Sinatra. Disneyland. Alias. Pizza." Good times. Amanda is probably the friend I look up to most in life. I don't mean to get SAPPY but it's the truth. She always has the best advice. But don't cross her. She's SASSY.

 And in June, Miss Jennica!

Jennica is the sweetest friend I have ever had and I'm willing to put money on it that she's the nicest person on the planet. We became roomies via Facebook. I wasn't even sure I was moving back yet, but I told her we should be roommates. She agreed. So we looked at places when I came out to visit. The rest was history. We had a really great summer filled with trail run(s) and early morning swims. We even tried to do Insanity together, but we only lasted 4 days. (Guys, it's freakin hard!) Anyway. Jen is the best and I am so so happy for her.

The end. I'm stoked! And so happy for you lovely ladies.
